High & Mighty/Eastern Conference fans will undoubtedly be familiar with these cats, not to mention Mighty Mi, the producer of Through The Eye. Ill Advised made several guest appearances on EC songs, and gained quite a following in the process. From what I hear, the West Philly duo (Baby Blak and Mr Lish), have had a falling out with the Eastern Conference fam in the meantime, but their early body of work still holds strong.

I'd love to have you on the bill, but...
A) It's kinda out of my hands, for many reasons, and...
B) It's amazing how many folks want to jump on board once they find out we just spin hip-hop all night long. I'm talking out of the woodwork. There just aren't many places where DJ's can do it, I guess.

Great feature and great blog in general. I really wish that Ill Advised would do some sort of group project with Rasheed and Paul Yams. I met Rasheed about a year ago and told him how classic his early 12s were. This was before his album dropped. If you see Maylay Sparks 'Jungle Book,' pick it up as you won't be disappointed.
